"Choose a skill - this could be a craft, a language, a sport, a household task like baking or cooking, or a practical skill like learning to drive. Over a period of at least six months, spend at least 30 hours practising the skill. Create a presentation to show your progress over the six month period."
I'd like to improving my painting skills, particularly using acrylic paints.
I'm pretty good at drawing with regular pencils (I believe it's called 'working in graphite' in the art world) but I've never really tried painting properly, and I've never worked in acrylics.
I found this painting set squirrelled away in our house (I believe my son got it for a birthday, long ago) so I thought it would be a good starting point.
I'm thinking I should probably find some YouTube tutorials too! 🙈
Right, now for the "and more!" - my weight loss for 'My Challenge' has started off really well; I know that it will get much harder as time goes on but it's a nice boost to my spirits.
I've also been thinking about 'My Adventure'...I think I want to do some kind of camping trip, to the Peaks or the Lakes, but I have nothing set in stone yet. Gonna start having a look for campsites and activities 🙂
